Don't know why Yelp says the place is closed. It is very much open. Went on Friday night for dinner. The decor is so pretty. The service is top notch. Family run restaurant. Even the cups/utensils are golden and so cute! Was given the option of warm water or hot tea. Of course we chose hot tea ( free and with refills). It was perfect for a cold rainy day. Ordered the XLB and the Kimchi soup dumplings. Both very yummy and very comforting Also got the pan fried bao The shrimp har gao was good as well

I'm not sure why Yelp reports this restaurant as closed because it is very much open! I came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and was impressed by the food here. We tried the sweet & spicy dry fried wings, dandan noodles, pumpkin with salted egg yolk, and pan fried pork buns. I found each dish to be very well made. I was surprised to find the fried pumpkin on the menu, since it's something I would usually find at more traditional Chinese restaurants. I only wish the pork buns were a little larger. The wings were delicious with plenty of meat - would highly recommend! The decor was very nice and service was quick and friendly. Will be back to try other items on the menu!

Came here at 12:30 on a Friday afternoon where there was only two other parties totaling 3 people. As others mentioned the dining area is really clean and wall decorations are lovely. As a companion mentioned the outside awning doesn't give the dining room justice. Some dishes hit the mark like the pork soup dumplings, Shanghai chubby noodles and the E2 pork pot stickers which if you are not careful when you bite into them may send a powerful squirt of juices all over. Staff was very attentive. Pictured are two containers of our leftovers. Spare ribs were just okay and would not order this dish again.

The girlfriend sometimes becomes obstinate when i pick Chinese for lunch because she'd rather eat Japanese, Korean, thai or burgers, but she does not object when i say we will have dumpling & wonton, especially XLB - The woman loves XLB. Dumpling Bistro is 1 of her fav restaurants in this area. She says parking in CT is a nightmare so coming out here is less stressful. She will order dandan noodles, wonton in chili oil, the pot stickers, honey bbq pork.

For me and hubby, we ordered 3 dishes. Sweet and spicy wings had good flavors, nice size wings. Pork and cabbage dumplings were standard. Walnut prawns were sweet, tasted kinda like mayo. Nice big size prawns. Nice and bright environment with spacious tables.

The large wontons in the wonton soup were very well made. The soup had a lot of white pepper, but overall, we enjoyed this soup very much. The filling in the haw gow was lacking in flavor as did the large soup dumplings, so utilize the sauces. The skin on both were very well made, bouncy and soft. The soup dumpling skins are thin enough that some may spill when you pick it up, so I suggest having your plate or bowl underneath the bamboo basket to catch the broth from spilling onto your table.
